With extensive experience as an executive leader, senior leader and inspection activity in further education and skills, I offer colleges and ILPs tailored support to enhance the Quality of Education, Personal Development, and Behaviour & Attitudes. My services are designed to facilitate sustained improvement and prepare you effectively for inspection activities.

I provide comprehensive quality and curriculum improvement support to colleges and ILPs, drawing on many years of experience working across all provision types, including education programmes for young people, adult learning programmes, apprenticeships and high needs. I understand the complexities of the further education and skills landscape and offer practical, evidence-based solutions to drive positive change.

My services include:

  • Comprehensive Quality Improvement Planning: I will work with you to develop robust quality improvement plans tailored to your organisation's specific needs and priorities. This includes a thorough analysis of your current strengths and areas for development, the setting of ambitious yet achievable targets, and the implementation of effective strategies to drive the Quality of Education across the organisation.
  • SAR and QIP Support: I can support the development and implementation of efficient and effective self-evaluation processes that accurately reflect the college's strengths and areas for development. This includes providing guidance on aligning with the Ofsted Framework and helping you to develop a culture of self-reflection and continuous improvement.
  • Ofsted Inspection Preparation and Support: Guidance and support to help your organisation prepare for inspection. This includes "critical friend" curriculum review activities, reviewing SAR and QIPs, and supporting staff to implement quality improvement strategies.
  • Quality Cycle Support: I will help your organisation to develop robust quality systems for collecting, analysing, and using data to inform quality improvement. This includes supporting the development of effective self-assessment processes, using data to identify trends and patterns, and implementing strategies to address areas of underperformance.
  • Targeted Staff Development: I can support the design and delivery of high-quality staff development programmes focused on enhancing teaching, learning, and assessment practices. This includes providing training and coaching to teaching staff, developing effective CPD strategies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

My approach is grounded in a collaborative partnership. I will work closely with your organisation to understand your unique context, challenges, and aspirations. Through a process of thorough assessment and collaborative planning, I will support you to develop and implement a customised improvement plan focused on achieving sustainable and impactful change.

Format: 

I will conduct a planning Teams call to agree specifics in advance. Support typically involves an agreed number of days on-site to conduct the agreed activities and facilitate quality improvement.
